ABOUT JESSICA VOLPE

Jessica Volpe is a Canadian artist and illustrator whose colorful, surreal work uses anthropomorphic animals and dreamlike scenes to explore motherhood, childhood, gender, and human nature. Based in Toronto’s historic 401 Richmond arts hub, she holds a BFA from OCAD and later studied Biology at the Open University of BC. Her clients include Prince, Crayola, The Fairmont Hotels, The Bata Shoe Museum, and Sleeman Breweries. In 2023, she was artist-in-residence for the Canadian Bar Association and received the Judges’ Choice Award at the Uptown Pride exhibition. Her work has been shown across Canada and the U.S. and is held in private collections worldwide.
